Erectile dysfunction is a pretty common health problem, but it can be embarrassing to talk about. Whilst we’d always recommend you visit your GP as a first course of action, it may be reassuring to know that the cure could be as simple as a few minor lifestyle changes, such as drinking less or shedding a few pounds.
Smoking in particular has been linked to erectile dysfunction as it causes a build up of plaque inside your arteries, clogging them up so that blood can’t get to where you want it to – especially when you consider that the artery carrying blood to the penis is the smallest in the body, so often the first one to be affected!
